Elderly Nutritional Needs

As we get older, it becomes much more important to eat natural and nutritious wholefoods. Natural vitamins and minerals present in these foods are absorbed much more efficiently than the synthetic ones found in capsules, or added artificially into foods, a process known as fortification. Many of the metabolic disorders we get as we get older are due to poor eating habits, and they only amplify as we age. However, we can improve our health at any age by changing the way we eat, and eliminating processed foods from our diet.
